“Sorry. It took a lot longer than it should.”
She was on her robe, fleeting in and out of the bathroom.
“Yeah, girls hug showers.” He was seating comfortably once again on her bed. He was dressed to go out for the night.
She emerged from the bathroom and pulled one pair of her bedroom slippers from her foot. She threw it at him, aiming for the head but he ducked a little and hit him on the left shoulder instead.
“You should have gone out alone.” She pouted at him while he chuckled and nursed his hurt shoulder.
“Nah, that’s not fun.” He tossed back her slipper and she caught it on one hand.
“Good that you know.” She resumed walking in and out of the bathroom, looking more harried each time she emerges.
Ofcourse, but are you going to be finished soon?”
She stashed away the towel after drying her hair and stood arms crossed in front of him. “Almost. Now, if you can’t turn around for 15 minutes so that I can get dress, you have to go down to the lobby and wait for me there.”
“There’s the bathroom.” He tilted his head towards the bathroom door.
“I can’t change in the bathroom. And it’s my room.”
He stared at her and bit his bottom lip. He put his hands behind his head and leaned back on the headboard. Laughter was dancing in his eyes as he raised his remarkable eyebrow.
She knew he was playing. But her heartbeat couldn’t stop from racing when he does that. He has the sexiest eyebrow, according to the press, and she readily agreed especially if it’s working on her at the moment.
She crossed her arms again and looked pointedly at him.
They continued staring for a while, willing the other to give up first. He got up from the bed, chuckling.
“Alright, 15 minutes or I’ll be back.”
“Deal.”
The door closed behind her.
